MY TAKE ON PHOTOGRAPHY

"The reason why we want to remember an image varies: Because we simply 'love it', or dislike it so intensely that it becomes compulsive, or because it has made us realize something about ourselves, or has brought about some slight change in us. Perhaps the reader can recall some image after seeing of which has never been quite the same."

Vacation!!

Where do I start?? So many pictures to go through...We started off at Busch Gardens of course and wanted to bring my DSLR each day, but resisted somehow as most of the day was spent in the spray park.
Ahh the beauty of a P&S, all the lovely strangers in the background :P

Thank goodness though by nighttime I did grab my DSLR as to my surprise they had a fireworks display...First time shooting fireworks, here's one that came out pretty cool SS.

The glow of the park at night made for really nice lighting. Notice darling daughter in her light up bunny ears!

Man I wish I had more time to practice SS, what better way than to capture a roller coaster! Here's one, as there were sooo many missed opportunities of course the family kept telling me "come on already!"

  1. You did great! I have so much trouble getting good pics on my DSLR when we're out and about. It seems to take me forever to get the settings right, and by then I've missed the shot. :(
