MY TAKE ON PHOTOGRAPHY

"The reason why we want to remember an image varies: Because we simply 'love it', or dislike it so intensely that it becomes compulsive, or because it has made us realize something about ourselves, or has brought about some slight change in us. Perhaps the reader can recall some image after seeing of which has never been quite the same."

This is it...

this is the expression that I've been wanting to capture, the one that makes my heart melt.. of course the lighting has to be right and she needs to cooperate :P of course I have to tell her no, just be "natural" as if she knows what that means.  lol.

Well it's official

I'm in love with photography...I've gone from shooting w/ my P&S to learning how to shoot in manual with my week old DSLR and can't imagine ever going back...It's by far my best birthday gift I've ever recieved, thanks to my darling husband and Mom of course.  And it won't be long till I'm going to want to start upgrade my lens... a hobby yes, and expensive hobby at that too :P

silly girl, just a bit tired of getting her picture taken.

My old man Teddy

The only lighting was an overhead light and a table lamp...taken at night because I just couldn't put my camera down.. Teddy was just sitting there wanting to be photographed, how could I resist ;)
