"The reason why we want to remember an image varies: Because we simply 'love it', or dislike it so intensely that it becomes compulsive, or because it has made us realize something about ourselves, or has brought about some slight change in us. Perhaps the reader can recall some image after seeing of which has never been quite the same."

Well, it was our 14th wedding anniversary on the 11th, as was my Mom's birthday! So to my surprise John planned a mini adventure for the three of us; to take a day trip to Atlantic City!! Not that many pictures I'm afraid But tons of FUN :D  My mom has lived in Jersey for just about her whole life and have never ventured to the casinos before, so to put it mildly she had a blast!

After several hours playing the penny & nickle mom had a bit of luck with some of the table games...then we were off to dinner. We ate at Ruth's Chris Steak House. & oh my was it delicious. It was one of those dinners that started with 5 pm reservations & we stayed at the restaurant till about 7:30... cake & coffee & champagne, the whole 9 yards! It was all in all one fabulous day...

We've made it a tradition, always trying to get together with my 2 baby sister I'd say started the tradition & this was her first pumpkin picking whith her own son this year, so what a special time it was :)

What fun....spent  with all of our favorite people :)086

Then there was a hayride!

Car Museum & OCC

The kiddies were off from school this past Thursday & Friday, so darling husband took the opportunity & took some time off work to do a few day trips. First on Thursday we hit up this really cool car museum in PA called "America on Wheels." The kids simply love museums & to top it off Jason's got this recent passion for cars, old & new so he really enjoyed himself. Of course Maddie loves all family outings so she was as happy as can be regardless the destinations. Me of course I was happy, got a chance to pick up the camera dust it off & give a go at some really cool subjects.

Wait that's not a car, no it's Maddie checking out Jay as he was in a very cool car simulator.

Oh and lookie it's all of us! I took the opportunity as it seemed we were the only people in the entire museum...there was this room full of old soap box cars & yay, a table to set the camera down on for a quickie snapshot!

Here at OCC there were just a few choppers by the windows that made for some good shots! I really loved this blue one!

My Boys

Just a snap shot of a moment from our long weekend...We visiting "America on Wheels" in Allentown Pa...what a great trip it was! I'll try to find time to blog about this week!  We also made a trip into NY to visit the Orange County Choppers place. We've been there a few times in past years, with darling husband & Jason being avid motorcycle fans, we've made this a tradition come fall time :) The drive is just so nice, gorgeous weather, gorgeous scenery!
