MY TAKE ON PHOTOGRAPHY

"The reason why we want to remember an image varies: Because we simply 'love it', or dislike it so intensely that it becomes compulsive, or because it has made us realize something about ourselves, or has brought about some slight change in us. Perhaps the reader can recall some image after seeing of which has never been quite the same."

POTW: Pink

In honour of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the first POTW theme for October is fittingly, pink...

I haven't been much in the mood for blogging these past couple of weeks & I'm afraid for the first time since getting my camera it's actually collecting some dust.. As I've posted before my Dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last month and has undergone major surgery.  He's also since recently experienced a set back contracting an infection sending him back to the hospital.  My Dad has consumed my every thought since finding out that he was sick.  I've been so lucky in my life till now to have never experienced such  heartache.  He truly is my "kindred spirit" & I don't know what I'll ever do with out him :(

I've been wanting to blog more about him, but like I said, I just haven't been able to do much lately, thank goodness for the kiddies in my life and my ever steady & reliable husband.  I don't think I could get through this without them... & my 2 sisters of course, who are experiencing the same heartache as well, thank God we have each other to lean on!

Anyway (should have titled this blog differently)  here is my POTW, my lovely Maddie of  course being as *pink* as ever!

  5. Still holding you close to my heart and keeping you in prayer. May you find peace and hope where you didn't think there was any left. May little moments of joy creep into your life so that you may smile- if only for a moment.
