MY TAKE ON PHOTOGRAPHY

"The reason why we want to remember an image varies: Because we simply 'love it', or dislike it so intensely that it becomes compulsive, or because it has made us realize something about ourselves, or has brought about some slight change in us. Perhaps the reader can recall some image after seeing of which has never been quite the same."

Lazy Days of Summer...

I suppose it's been lazy, & sort of  busy at the same time...we haven't done very much. Jay's all done with his summer school, & the kiddies have been enjoying these last days of their summer vacation together. For the most part they're getting along. They've really grown this summer, when I think of last year, basically all they did was argue; this years been different..they're really growing close & having a ton of fun together...two peas.  I have to admit, they've had me pulling my hair out at times, & have been keeping *me* busy...spending my usual free time with them, so although I've been busy with them, it's all been worth it.

Especially now I'm starting to reflect on the fact that they're both going to be in school full time come next month. I suppose I've been in a kind of denial that this moment would one day come. I'll be blogging all about it really soon I'm sure. But can't help to mention it now as it's been recently weighing so heavily on my mind....what will I do without them?

  2. The end of summer is always so bittersweet. I love fall, it's what that comes after it that terrifies me (here in North Dakota).

You captures some great sibling love in these, they look like you didn't even have to bribe them into getting close. ;)
