Cheers!

Well, it was our 14th wedding anniversary on the 11th, as was my Mom's birthday! So to my surprise John planned a mini adventure for the three of us; to take a day trip to Atlantic City!! Not that many pictures I'm afraid But tons of FUN :D  My mom has lived in Jersey for just about her whole life and have never ventured to the casinos before, so to put it mildly she had a blast!

After several hours playing the penny & nickle slots...my mom had a bit of luck with some of the table games...then we were off to dinner. We ate at Ruth's Chris Steak House. & oh my was it delicious. It was one of those dinners that started with 5 pm reservations & we stayed at the restaurant till about 7:30... cake & coffee & champagne, the whole 9 yards! It was all in all one fabulous day...

    Sounds like a really fabulous time! I have still never eaten at Ruth's Chris. My son got invited their for his friend's birthday and he loved it too. This was really sweet of your husband to plan something with you and your mom.
