I'm finally getting around to blogging about our annual trip to Busch Gardens VA...sooo much fun equals sooo many pictures. I've gotten to editing my favorites, here they are. (eta...here are some, there just needs to be a part 2!)
First stop, hotel...& wow I swear the best lighting each time we visit VA is by the window in our hotel room, go figure!
Maddie gazing out the window, & what an exciting view of the parking lot we had! Don't matter to a little 5 year old though ;)
Yippee! An Angry Bird the best prize ever!
Maddie literally needing to pull in Jason for a quick snapshot...
& of course, a silly face, no surprise for silly Jason.
Best part of vacation, any time any where, you know, the part where I don't have to cook any meals!!! Our hotel had the very best breakfast...You name it, they had it... & boy did we stuff ourselves each morning before venturing out to the amusement park!
After taking this one, Maddie asked me "Mommy, can you see my golden tooth?" Hmmm, no just some scrambled eggs honey.
Elmo's Forest of Fun, a spray park that the kiddies thourowly enjoyed!
Maddie's AND my favorite part of the trip, getting her face painted!
Yes, it's a Tiger! How funny because each year she say's "I know I'm going to be a this that or the other thing" Until she sits down, looks through the book of examples and sure enough she pin points something that she gets her heart set on! She saw this Tiger & fell in love :)
What a lovely backdrop, these flowers right next to where she was finnished...sat down for a few shots!
Roller coasters!!
Notice the silly monkey around Maddie's neck, I'm afraid almost all pictures following this day will have her with this very monkey around her neck :P
Weee!!!
I wish I had better pics of this roller coaster...It's called "The Loch Ness Monster!" It has 2 loopty loops (this is how Jay refers to them) that extend over a lake in the park....He's just this year, been tall enough to ride this one...we were a bit skeptical if he'd be brave enough to actual ride...well, need I say that he not only rode it once, 8, yes 8 times. Once with Mommy, at night, in the front seat...while fireworks were going off. Can I just say, this one moment had to be just the coolest moment of my life! Yes, I ejoy roller coasters as well.
Looks like your vacation was amazing! The pictures are brilliant! :D
