I started a journal when I realized that I couldn't be photographing and recording every moment of my kids lives...so for these precious moments I record in my journal.  Memories that I will always be able to look back & recall.

This is actually one of Jason's trinkets. It's an old motorcycle trophy that I picked up for a buck one day in an antique shop. He's got a love for motorcycles & couldn't pass it by :)

    wow, these are all so great! I love the journal one because I am partial to journaling myself and I think it's a great composition. The reflection one is just so interesting and I keep going back to look at it, and the doorways are so cool, especially in black and white!

    I wish I had kept a journal - I've forgotten so much already. I really like that reflection and silhouette.

    love the journal idea... wish I had done that... I wrote some things on the calendars over the years... adn keep those.. but it is not the same... stories begin to fade... *sigh* anyway... love love the doorway shot!
