Happy 5th Birthday Maddie :D

I can't believe that my baby girl is 5 years old today!  I don't know if I should be happy or sad! & every year is the same thing, that how is it that she's another year older.  It seems like just yesterday that I didn't even know if I was having another boy or if for some miracle I would have a girl!  (although I didn't admit it at the time, I knew she was a she)  Here are some oldies but goodies;

This was earlier this year, in the spring time. I had just gotten my first DSLR and what a way to celebrate than take a photo shoot of my beautiful daughter! (now she's so sick of me taking her picture, I'm afraid these shots are becoming few & far between :P)

I'll finish off with this one...One of my recent shots, her just checking out the scenery. We were at a balloon launch for the summer solstice. I like her expression here as she's deep in thought...I've often wondered what it meant to be an "Old soul." But I swear that not only was she was 18 months old & talking full sentences...she's just got that special something in her demeanour that convinces me that perhaps she might be one of those "old souls" we hear talk about!
