Yes, *my* baby graduated Kindergarten...I swear I don't recall crying a river when Jason had his 2 years ago...but, seriously, I was a blubbering idiot on Friday!
Yes, that's my girl, leading the line! She is such a big girl, so proud and so grown up...she took on Kindergarten by storm! So smart & so witty, I've never met a kid so willing & in genuinely in love with going to school...& just now, tucking her in to bed, she started to cry, when asked what's the matter, she replied "mommy, I'm going to miss my friends."
Look at that smile from ear to ear, she couldn't be prouder of herself!
and what's a celebration without running around & laughing with your friends!?!
Last but not least, Maddie & her ever so proud Daddy. :)
MY TAKE ON PHOTOGRAPHY
"The reason why we want to remember an image varies:
Because we simply 'love it', or dislike it so intensely that it becomes compulsive, or because it has made us realize something about ourselves, or has brought about some slight change in us. Perhaps the reader can recall some image after seeing of which has never been quite the same."

My First Art Fair
So nervous leading up to this day. Up until the last minute I thought it would have been cancelled due to rain, but the show went on & so did I. I was so pleased with the way everything turned out, between the easels, the picture frames & the baskets, it all came together just the way I wanted it to.
Me, I'm afraid, looking a little bit like Old Mother Hubbard :/ There was a chill in the air and on & off rain...but my spirits were still high regardless!
The kiddies enjoyed the day as well...as this is their favorite pond, located next to our towns library it's a place we frequent to feed the ducks & take pictures :)
And at the end of the day Maddie made me a picture saying "here mommy, I made you a picture for your special day, but it's not only for you it's for your basket." You see I had a basket to hold my various drawings...so here she placed it. What more could I ask for...
And to my surprise, to make the day even better, I sold 3 prints!!!

Shoot & Edit: Bubbles! SOOC
I've already blogged a few of Maddie in the sunlight blowing bubbles...but this week's S&E is bubbles, so how could I miss out on the opportunity to journal about an edit.
Here's one of her SOOC, haven't done anything with it yet, but already know it needs a bunch of edits...so here you have it...check back on Thursday to see the wow factor!

Such Joy in Our Everyday
An evening like any other...The kiddies playing outside on a lovely Thursday evening. I always take my camera outside with me while the do their thing...playing on their scooters, riding bikes, blowing bubbles. These are the moments that I cherish...I'm so lucky to be able to captures these...it's not so much about the pictures, it's the moments.
